Refund Policy

This Refund Policy (the "Policy") is applicable to all the digital services ("Services") provided by Indy Web Design ("IWD" or "Company"). By digitally signing our Acknowledgement Receipt, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with the terms outlined in this Policy.

This Policy is designed to comply with the applicable laws and regulations of the State of Indiana and the United States of America. If any provision of this Policy is found to be in violation of any such law or regulation, that provision shall be deemed null and void, and the remaining provisions of this Policy shall remain in full force and effect.

How To Request Your Refund

To request a refund, the Customer must submit a refund request to IWD within thirty (30) days of the invoice date, clearly stating the reasons for the refund request and providing any relevant documentation to support the claim. IWD will review the refund request and respond within fifteen (15) business days. Only the primary contact or legal representative can initiate a refund request.

  2. Be Patient: We will respond to your request and concerns within 24-48 business hours. All requests must meet our refund policy. If your refund request meets the criteria, we will issue full or partial refund in accordance with our policies. All refunds are issued in the original method of payment. Refunds may take up to 14 days to process.
  3. Take Down: You agree that you have no right to use any reaction or other substance, work item or media, nor will you have any ownership interest for or to the same. You MUST take down in it's entirety any and all material that may have been supplied by us, and you will not keep copies in any form of the original.
  4. Return of Intelectual Property: Before refunds are issued, the rights/access to any work performed by us must be transferred to Indy Web Design in its original form, and you will not legally be allowed to display any version of the design sent by the Indy Web Design. Should you violate this agreement or return products with modifications or not in its original form, we will be entitled to compensation by any means necessary, and no additional refunds will be granted.
  5. Refunds are limited to the amount paid by the Customer for the Services in question.

Refund Limitations

  • No refunds will be issued for completed projects.
  • Only partial refunds will be issued for initiated projects.
  • No refunds will be issued after delivery of any digital product or service.
  • No refunds will be issued for any unused portion of any subscription services.
  • No refunds will be issued after inaction by the customer after 30 consecutive days.
  • No refunds will be issued for breached Contracts, NDA, Terms of Service or Customer Service Agreement.
  • No refunds will be issued for unresponsiveness from the Customer after 30 business days.
  • No refunds will be issued for minor issues or errors that do not significantly impact the usability or functionality of the delivered service or digital asset.
  • No refunds will be issued for dissatisfaction with the Services that are due to the Customer's subjective preferences or expectations.

IWD reserves the right to issue any refunds at our discretion.

Limitations by Service Type

All Website Design refund requests must meet the criteria listed under Refund Limitations, plus these additional conditions.

  • No refunds will be issued for issues that arise beyond our control, such as bugs introduced by updates to WordPress, Plugins, Themes or any other third party.
  • No refunds will be issued for faulty digital services from third parties requested by the Customer.
  • No refunds will be issued for faulty digital products from third parties requested by the Customer.

All design jobs require client input before finishing the design which is why it is requested that the customer is active throughout the process and gives feedback in order to get the required results.

All Managed Web Hosting refund requests must meet the criteria listed under Refund Limitations, plus these additional conditions.

  • No refunds will be issued for automatic renewals (autopay), authorized by the Client.
  • No refunds will be issued for server issues beyond our control (E.g. server damage, server failure, natural disaster, etc.)
  • No refunds will be issued for unrelated problems with our servers (E.g. customer unhappy with website, customer out of business, etc.)

All Domain Name refund requests must meet the criteria listed under Refund Limitations, plus these additional conditions.

  • No refunds will be issued for expired domain names.
  • No refunds will be issued for transfered domain names.
  • No refunds will be issued for free domain names included with any managed web hosting plan.

I. Domain names are transferable upon request and at no cost, only if the request is made 30 days prior to cancellation.

II. Suspended, cancelled or closed accounts no longer qualify for domain transfer. You may still be able to purchase the domain name from our registrar at the listed price.

III. Past due balances must be paid in full before we consider any domain transfer.

IV. If you qualify for domain transfer, you must understand the process and initiate transfer early to avoid issues. We can perform the entire transfer at our hourly cost.

All Citation Building refund requests must meet the criteria listed under Refund Limitations, plus these additional conditions.

  • No refund will be issued for completed projects.
  • No full refund will be issued for initiated projects.
  • No refund will be issued for setup fees.
  • No refund will be issued for late fees.
  • No refund will be issued for reactivation fees.
  • No refund will be issued for processing fees.
